Bones Season 1 Disc 1 Side B Wrap Up
This week’s TV on DVD Season I am going through and doing wrap ups of is the four double sided disc Bones Season 1 set. I will be posting about one side of a disc each day until next Monday. This is the wrap up of Side B of the first disc.

“A Boy in the Bush” - Bones is giving a lecture at American University and Booth shows up to take her to a field to find bones that were tipped off to in a 911 call. They think it could be a missing six year old. Zack wears a special thermal imaging suit to find the body. It turns out to be the missing boy. Interviewing the boy’s brothers Booth finds out that the boy was snatched from the mall and not the park. Booth realizes for the first time that Angela is a squint like the others in the lab. Angela begins to think about quitting and go back to her passion for art, which just is not the same when she is drawing dead people rather than how she used to draw naked men. It turns out that the boy was a foster child just like his brothers. Zack, Angela, and Booth realize that Hodgins is part of a very wealthy family that is the biggest donor to the Jeffersonian. Hodgins does not want to go to the benefit banquet because he does not want his secret to be out including not telling Bones. The younger brother is afraid to tell the truth, but Bones talks with him and has an unique moment of being able to relate with a person due to her own foster care experience. She gets him to talk and the neighbor is arrested for sexually assaulting and killing the boy. Booth gets Hodgins off the hook for the banquet by making it up that he is needed to analyze something for the FBI.
“The Man in the Wall” - Angela pulls Bones away from her work to get her to go out and have some fun. Bones gets herself in trouble at the club because of her use of the word tribal. She gets kicks a guy into a wall and a mummy is found. Bones and Angela end up high due to the meth cloud on the dance floor. Bones rehydrates the skin and puts it on like a glove to get the mummy’s fingerprints. It turns out the mummy is of a DJ. It turns out the mummy was killed by meth that was forced in his face. A belly button ring is found that was ripped out of a woman’s belly button, which is a concept that makes even Bones squemish. Bones calls in a cadaver dog to find if the woman, who was also being chased by the person that was chasing and killed the other man, buried under the concrete in the club. The dog helps finds the body. A cane from a rap promoter turns out to prove that he murdered the two after the DJ was getting ready to change record labels.
