Winners:
21- 21 is all about a group of geeks that get together to take down or become millions in Vegas. This was definitely a hit movie, it rolled in $23.7 million and that was just over the weekend. Now I knew they’d be a hit but I didn’t think they’d make that much money that quick. See those geeks are still rolling in the dough.

Here is this week’s Top 10 weekend Box Office Movies for Easter Weekend. How were your predicitions? I got 7 out of 10 but not in the correct order. Course I did get Dr. Seuss Correct, but who wouldn’t have guessed that one.
Winners:
Last week was fun and while I didn’t get everything in the right order I did get 8 out of 10. How did you do? Let’s have a bit of fun again and list which ones you think will be in the pick for the week. Make sure to leave your predictions in the comments and come back on Monday to find out if you were right.
New This week:
Okay as for my predictions, it seems I did get 8 out of the ten but not in the right order. Will you play with me next week?
Dr. Seuss; Horton Hears a Who raked in $45.1 million. I expected this one being the first especially since it is a kid movie and everyone growing up has read at least one Dr.Seuss book. Horton hears a Who is all about Horton the elephant hearing a tiny voice on a flower and decides he must protect it at all costs.
My kids are hooked on all those Disney programs that are always on tv from Mickey Mouse to Life with Derek or Suite Life of Zach and Cody. They’d love it if they could watch it all day, every day but they can’t. But now Disney has a movie club. I had no clue they were doing this until someone asked me if I was a member. So far, I’m not a member, but only because I need to sort out my bills first. I think this is a great program, kind of like NetFlix or Blockbuster but for kids.
Right now you can get in on the Disney deal and get 4 movies for $1.99 each plus free shipping and handling. Can’t beat that right? Movies such as Ratatouille, Meet the Robinsons, Cars, Fox and Hound or even Mary Poppins 40th Anniversary Edition.

Will you be joining? Let me know how you like it if you do. This sounds like a great plan. Think back to when you were a kid, what types of movies did you like? Was there a favorite Disney show/movie you liked? If so maybe they have it listed. I know I’ve looked for a ton of movies at movie rentals and either they were scratched or didn’t have them. Disney Movie club has a ton to go through though. Soar through the air with Aladin and then take a hop on a floating log with Davy Crocket, but don’t forget to use your imagination just like in Winnie the Pooh.
Horton Hears a Who! comes out in theater today! This is definitely one I want to see, but it won’t be happening this week, but I’d love to hear your take on it.
Horton Hears a Who! is from the old story from Dr.Seuss, Horton the elephant finds a a small flower with a speck of dust on it. Luckily for the people of Whoville he doesn’t just blow it off, instead of just being a speck of dust it is an entire community of little people living on it. Horton develops a friendship with the Who people and realizes he must keep the flower safe in order to save them.
Jim Carrey plays the voice of Horton.
“There is a man that has 96 daughters and 1 son and all share a bathroom. EEEKkkk!”
Horton Hears a Whoo, Horton, Whoville, movies, theaters, Dr. Seuss, Jim Carrey
