Have Your Coffee and Your ‘SNL’ Too

Beginning August 28, you can pick up the DVD “Saturday Night Live: The Best of ‘06/’07″ as you grab your morning Frappuccino. The DVD will be sold exclusively in Starbucks stores around the country.

Starbucks Entertainment and NBC Universal are releasing the DVD as their first joint venture.  It marks the first time NBC Universal has created a DVD exclusively for a retailer.

The DVD will feature SNL performers Amy Poehler, Seth Meyers and Darrell Hammond, as well as exclusive dress rehearsal footage and cast commentary. A bonus “30 Rock” DVD will be included. It will feature the “Black Tie” episode, and deleted scenes from the first season.
