March 24, 2009 TV on DVD Releases: Animated and Kids
Here is this week’s edition for TV on DVD Releases in the animated and kids category.
Aria The Natural Part 2 DVD Collection Season 2 - This release contains episodes 14 through 26 of the series second season (not sure if it means it is the second part of the series or that the first season ended at episode 13 and the second season started at episode 14, but I think it is the later).
Care Bears: Cheer, There & Everywhere - This release contains 8 stories (i.e. half-episodes). It comes with a greeting card.
Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird - I know this not an animated show. I do not usually lump the live action kids shows into the animated category and instead put them where they belong such as drama, but I did not know how else to classify this show. This movie is one of the early Sesame Street movies now making what I believe is its premiere on DVD.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars A Galaxy Divided - This release contains four episodes from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. The episodes are “Ambush,” “Rising Malevolence,” “Shadow of Malevolence,” and “Destroy Malevolence.” It does not seem like there are any special features on this release.
The Venture Bros.: Season Three - This is a two disc set with the 13 episodes from season 3. It sounds like it may also have some special features. This release is also being released on Blu-Ray the same day and the Blu-Ray version has a bonus music CD. Amazon also has a set of the first three seasons, but it is currently cheaper to buy all three separately.
Voltron Volume 7 - This is a three disc set.
Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!: Pirate Treasure - I think this Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! DVD release contains four episodes of the show.
