Weekend Box Office Winners

This week I did pretty good with 9 out of 10 winning picks, now to start working on figuring out the correct order. How did you all do? Don’t forget we play every week, so just check out the predictions and come back every Monday to find out if they were correct.

21 has brought in $15.1 million just this weekend alone, bringing its total to which means yes, they not only took money from Vegas but America as well. This is one movie that keeps rolling in the money.

Leatherheads with George Clooney was expected to be a big hit, while it did draw in the money it didn’t beat out 21. What happens when you get the best to join a winning team but then the coach falls the player’s finace? The story all takes place in the year 1925, the team goes broke and they must figure out how to pull in the money to make it to games.

Nim’s Island is all about a little girl’s imagination come true, she’s dreamed up the island and when it takes her father she must come face to face with her favorite author, Alex Rover and their worst fears.

Horton Hears a Who is still drawing in the winners, there are tons of kids that just want to watch this giant elephant take a little flower to safety. Not to mention Jim Carrey plays a voice in it which always draws in an audience.

The Ruins takes you on a trip with a group to Mexico where no one wants to go near this group and slowly they learn there is something evil amongst the ruins. There will be snakes, creepy crawly things, hands grabbing, screaming and crying.

Superhero Movie is when the “Dragonfly” meets up with the “Hourglass.” This is suppose to be one of those laugh out loud movies.

Meet the Browns is all about a single mother never meeting her father and finding out he’s dead, now she must take her family and meet her father’s side of the family. The two families are total opposites.

Drillbit Taylor, Shutter and 10,000BC is still making money, this weekend it made $2.8million.

  1. Saul Kabacinski Says:

That’s the issue with her. She’s an brilliant vocalist. It is so disappointing to have to see her waste it by being caught up in all that awful stuff. The girl should go to rehab, or check into a program, or get a better life coach. Will she ever tour in the future? I’d like to see her live, her concerts are breathtaking.
